Sujet quick (probably stupid) question

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I have turntables, soundcard and everything else to run virtual dj, am just wondering, will the software version I have support timecoded vinyl, they are currently winging there way over from the US.

my version says limited edition, so is it limited?

many thanks

You will need to upgrade to VirtualDJ Professional to use timecode vinyls or CD's: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

The demo version of VirtualDJ will allow you to try out timecode: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/trial.html

Limited editions and the home edition of VirtualDJ cannot be used with external hardware (MIDI, timecodes, etc.) Console editions can only be used with hardware they were supplied with (E.g: Hercules DJ Console.)

Ok. New (old) guy here. I use to DJ many moons ago here in Florida. I had been thinking about getting back into it (mostly as a hobby), but the cost of buying all the equipment and vinyl always kept me away. I have just purchased an ICUE computer mixer and was reading a lot about it which has raised questions. Everytime I searched the internet for the answers I was always clicking on one of your links. While my questions were not directly answered I did get some info. So here are my concerns:

I have a Sound Blaster Live 24 Bit internal sound card in my computer. Will this support the headphone preview with the ICUE?

I have an AMD 3300+ Processor with 2 GB of RAM. Is this good enough?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I look forward to "Spinning" again. It's been a while. Hope I haven't completely lost my touch.

Probably not. My PC has two independent Headphone jacks. I am unable to seperate the Cue'd signal from the master signal so that I can send each signal independently to their respective headphone jack, with the default soundcards. And I know how to set the settings in the "sound options" in Config.

Should be enough. But memory is cheap. Check out this website's Hardware Recommendations/requirements for more info.

All the way at the bottom.
