I have been using VirtualDJ for some time now and have recorded quite a few mixes. During the mix the sound is fine, no skips whatsoever, but when I play back my recording and cut the tracks etc, low and behold i hear many small skips, probably at least 1 per track!
does anyone have any advice to offer me?

P4 2.8ghz
1024mb Corsair DDR400
200gb Seagate HDD 7,200 rpm
C Media On Board S/C
SB Live 6.1
Linksys Ethernet

Are you encoding your mix to mp3? If so it could be it but I don't really see why since you have a decent computer. If you have the mp3 encoding on, turn it off and then try recording one of your mixes and see if you get the same problem.
