I was a club jock in the mid 80's till the late 90's. During that time I also did over 200 weddings. I used technic 1200s until I got out of the business in the late 90's doing only occasional nightclub gigs as a guest or as a temporary stand for DJs that were sick etc. I did a retro nights in a west indian club for 6 months around 2000 or 2001. In 2013 I started getting back into it doing a few club gigs, parties and weddings. People now see the 55 year old and say "sure...like this guy knows how to DJ..." famous last words LOL. Today I use a Pioneer DDJ-SX2 and had a DJ business called Sound Choice Entertainment which was both fun and lucrative. I shut down the business in late 2019 as age and health issues put a damper on that part of my life.
