the xponent is a killer controler
the jog wheels are touch sensitive and the level of sensitvity can be adjusted , it can be so sensitve it dectects the hairs on your skin touching it
scratching quality is amazing ,
for close up shot click here
it has buttons for pretty much any coneviable task
it has a headphone jack
and two master outs one for a both monitor system and one for an amp
the sound quality is extremely high ,
Note
Torq DJ software its self is a bit like MY first DJ its realy unstable :(( dont install it
4-output USB audio interface:
4 RCA outputs for independent control of the house system and booth monitors
¼” TRS headphone output with cue and volume controls
16-bit/48kHz max sample rate
ASIO and Core Audio compatible
advanced MIDI control surface:
mixer controls:
2 vertical volume controls
2 3-band EQ control knobs with kill buttons
2 gain-control knobs with mute buttons
horizontal crossfader control with transform buttons
2 LED volume meters
player controls:
2 touch-sensitive scratch wheels
2 100mm pitch adjust controls
built-in touchpad/assignable X/Y control surface for mouse or effect control
8 assignable knobs for effect control
64 assignable backlit buttons, including Play, Cue, Seek, Loop, Key and Sync controls

in software which has native support for it it can aslo flash all the buttons to the beat for visual beat counting :))

If I wanted to hook up a mic so basicaly all I need is vdj,the controller & 2 selfpowered speakers how would you suggest to do it? And can you list the dimentions of it Thanks for all your help..............
Posté Thu 04 Oct 07 @ 2:36 pm
As sky said.
The Xponent has no Mic-in. So if your active speakers have no mic in you would need an additional small mixer for your mic.
