Does broadcasting on Vista (from my own server) work?
I opened port 8000 on my router
Clicked on Config, chose Shoutcast MP3, set the bitrate, and chose "Broadcast from my own computer".
Now I try to open location in Winamp and enter http://myservername:8000/VirtualDJ.mp3, but it doesn't connect. My friend said he could connect to it, but I can not. Any ideas?

I don't know, but try changing .mp3 extension to .pls or .m3u ?
If that don't work, try to enter just http://myservername:8000/ in winamp. Then winamp will find the ending itself :)
Never tried broadcasting from virtualdj, but have much experience with shoutcast in general.
Hope it works out,
-Ron
