i need advice on a soundcard for my new hercules MP3...i got the mixer but need a soundcard for it for use of headphones etc, wt can i buy thts good and cheap! wil a USB one with 2 channel splitter do the job?!

You can take Sound Blaster Live USB 5.1 or Numark DJIO.
