Sujet: Virtual Vinyl As A Sound Card

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hello My Fellow VDJ'ers, I'm Pretty New To This Suite But Not To Virtual DJ. I Have Been Using It For 10 Years Now Back When It Was Atomix lol, But Sadly It Wasn't A PAID Version, I Downloaded All The Previous Versions For Torrent Sites And Cracked Them(I Feel So Ashamed), But I Just Bought Virtual Vinyl v5 And I'm Now 100% LEGIT lol.

I Owned 2 iCDX Before So And I'm Presently Using Them To Run My Time Coded CD's. My Question Is Can I Ues My Virtual Vinyl Box As A Sound Card In Windows? It Show Up Fine In Virtual Dj But When You Look In Windows Vista Sound Card Setup It's Not There. I Used A Friends Xponent Before And It Showed Up As A ASIO Sound Card So I'm Wondering If Virtual Vinyl Has ASIO Drivers For Vista. I Drivers I'm Using Now Came For The Installation CD, But I Think There From XP Not Sure.

Also If Anybody Reads This Is Using 2 iCDX Like I'm To Run Their TCC Give The A Few Tips & Tricks. Bout All The Scratch Options Work Well In VV Like Bleep For Instance.

P.S> Modorators If This Topic Exist Already Just Move It And Notify Me Ok THANKS!

hey dj dinero..good to see another Jamaican onboard mon and legit...I know the crossover will work out for you. This forum works.. Cannot answer this question for you but hopefully someone soon will..

I'm just wondering why you use your ICDX's as timecode cd and not use the native support? You get alot more control features using them as plug & play option. I have two ICDX's as well, though ive never tried using them as timecoded

Using VV box interface in Vista is possible. Just plugin your VV box before starting the software then click to the dropdown menu and you'll see the Virtual Vinyl sign, click on it.

iCDX using TCCD is possible also and it works flawlessly for me but I rather prepare having use it as HID so to have more flexibility and more control over the software. To be honest scratching with iCDX is a bit hard due to the nature of jog wheel itself.

I use them because u get more " Scratc Mode " like Bleep,Bleep Forward, Cue, Cue Forward, Vinyl and Forward. Plus I use the Break Stop And Start Time when i'm mixing, and u cant use those in HID Mode.

I know what you mean Ranes, the absents of a platen does make it a little more complicated, but if you understand what may was trying to achieve you would understand why they left it out. A traditional CDJ Can only scratch Back------->Forward and Vinyl, but the iCDX has Bleep and Cue, which give you alot more options when it comes to trick, not to mention making it easier, you know how hard it was too bleep scratch by the iCDX loll.
