Hi - I am normally quite good with anything tech but I have had massive problems in getting the Hercules MK2 working properly on either my PC or my old laptop (especially with Virtual DJ).
I have just got a new laptop and I would really appreciate it if someone could give a step-by-step guide to setting it up and getting it working using Virtual DJ so I don't mess it up again. For example, should I install the latest drivers first before I connect it?
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

When you install the Hercules drivers, the installation will reach a point where it asks you to plug your console in.
So I would start the installation without the console attach to your laptop, and wait till it prompts you to do so.

Once the installation is complete, you can make sure everything is correct by looking at this document from the Hercules support site:

OK thanks, I will try that as I think that part worked OK on my PC (although it just goes into an endless loop of asking me to plug it in when I try it on my old laptop!)
