Sujet: Auto peek match Only on Ch1 ??

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Why is this happening only on ch 1? Here is whats going on, I would load the same song on both decks, cue point is at the first beat, when I play the song on channel 1 then start the song on ch 2 ,sometime after, it starts exactly where I have it cued up. The peak don't try to line up. But when I do the other way around when ch 2 is playing and I start ch1, sometime after, ch1 cue point would always try to match up with a peak on ch2. It would either skip forward or skip back, trying to match a peek on ch2. It's not even trying to match the CBG.
This is driving me nuts there is something set auto for only Ch1 where I don't want it set. And it is not skin specific.. Someone help...

Thanks for looking..

Will it happen only when you use external controller?
Check 1st with your Keyboard Shortcuts on sync shortcut, check if it is on auto, deck 1 or deck 2 or what ever then play with those shortcut settings which ever suits you.

If you were using the latest Pro version, that is option called "SmartPlay", and it is on by default when you install VDJ. To disable it, go to Start>Run>Regedit and find VirtualDJ key and set options:
SmartPlay1
SmartPlay2
and set them to 0 (zero).

Strange! I never touch anything on my registry and it's set to (0), which means the other way as you said, ALF.
I think this is not a good idea to have this setting be put only in the registry (or maybe there is other way to set it but who knows?). It will mess-up everything if you made something wicked. Those we have to think that not all VDJ users are not computer hustlers.

Thanks you guys I actually found the little button on one of the RMX skin. It was a button next to the play button and it was a "Smart Play" short cut.
Thanks again for the help.

Glad we could help ;)
