Sujet: VDJ with BCD2000

For the first in 2 years, im getting a pop up that is asking for serial number to access VDJ?? Than it says, trying to connect to internet to check lastest version, does anybody know what or how to fix this??

allow it to connect to interent , go get the latest update ;)

You can always turn off auto update, if you let it wait for several minutes.. (will start in the end)...

 
How do i turn off auto update??
It never connected??
 
open up config go to options and turn off auto update.
 
See thats the problem..i cant even open VDJ to go to configure, once i click on the pop up that states "will try to connect" another pop up comes up that says installation error
 
Go to your download center and redownload the software, and reinstall it on the machine and see if that works.
 
No luck...i dont know if i should uninstall the program and then reinstall, but this is so frustrating, SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!
 
Yes as brian already suggested, try to uninstall n reinstalled back. It might work;)
 
Did you use Firefox or IE to download?? I would use IE to download and reinstall.
 
No luck guys...i seriously dont know what else to do, i uninstalled the program, then reinstalled...tried to open VDJ and it asked for serial number, i type that in and than i got the pop up "installation error"
 
You didnt answer my question, did you use Firefox to download?? Did you go to the download center here and REDOWNLOAD the install??

Another question is Are you using Vista, if so have you Disabled UAC, are you running as Administrator??
 
I used neither, just my regular windows explorer...i got a gateway laptop but yes i went to download center, clicked on the first download with the windows 16 program
 
I tried through firefox and nothing!!!!, once i redownload, it asks for serial key, i type it in, then i hit ok to open VDJ and than i get the installation error pop up
 
Ok I am lost now. Maybe a Teamer can help you out.
 
Thanks, i appreciate the help...ive uninstalled the program. I paid for a program here and it doesnt even work, i dont know if i should buy another system and try that way or just get a new system over all, but any help i can get i would appreciate!!!
 
I am using Windows XP, i have yahoo if you do to??
 
hey guys, i think i have setup my bcd2000 properly, after a bit of hassle due to vista
anyway i open up vdj 5.1 or whatever i have, and go to config, in the controllers tap it recognises the bcd and says its activated, but i cant get it to sync with vdj, like it just sits there and does nothing
what do i do?
