im using the rmx with vdj 5.2.1 version and love them.i dont play videos just music.what is the diff between wdm and asio.im getting some cracks and stutters.normally use no input.....headphones output.......4.1 soundcard.......then rmx..........performance fastest latency auto

ASIO is capable of lower latency than WDM but WDM is capable of being opened by multiple applications at once.
If you are using 4.1 soundcard mode, then try disabling "Safe Mode" and "Overclock". Also ensure you have set a large enough buffer/latency. With this mode I'd try an actual value rather than Auto, something like 128/256/512.
If you are using ASIO mode, set buffer to "Auto" and ensure you have a large enough buffer configured in your ASIO device control panel.
