Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Dell Inspiron 1520
INTEL CORE 2 DUO 1.50 GHZ
1 GB RAM

Is it good enough to run VDJ without skips, hiccups etc which I seem to get a lot! or do I need to upgrade??

Well, it's a Dell for a start, Dells can be hit or miss.

It should be fine for audio only, Video, you will need something more powerfull.

yeah, its just for music. I'm sick of the clicks & hiccups all the time.

I'm just wondering if I should try and get a faster spec, although I'm sure with some tweaking it'll be better.

I guess i'm lucky!

Very tweaked Dell E1505 on XP
Dual Core
1.77 processor
2gb Ram

Running audio, videos (with all effects even sonique plugins/slideshows etc.) no problem at all.

Very lucky mate ;)

Hi. I recommend at least 2 gigs of ram minimum. Spend the extra money. Also get dedicated video. If you have an integrated video it is going to use some of that 1 gb. Get the minimum dedicated video card u can find(128 mb). This program will do u right but u have to give it the horsepower and headroom it needs to work.
