Sujet vdj home edition claps are not in sync

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

no matter what i do..when transitioning from one track to the next..the beats per minute are matched, but the claps are not on top of one another..it sounds like a wreck and im using the auto beat match...maybe im missing something here, or maybe the home edition cant be that precise.

It can be, what you need is:

1/ good quality mp3/wav/flac/.. files

2/ if auto matching you need perfectly aligned CBG,
if manual matching than you need to match it preciesly yourself

3/ turn off the master tempo or use high quality settings
to insure any transients (claps, kicks) won't be destroyed
(which is the usual cause to hear trainwreck rhythm).

What sort of tracks are you mixing? Modern Electronic/Techno/House or older tracks - or even tracks played with "real" musicians...

I have found that on most modern tracks BPM is usually very accurate. With older tracks - especially disco tracks, the BPM moves around quite a bit and manual intervention is required when mixing using the jog wheel on my Rmx to keep the beats in check, much like I used to do in my vinyl days...

Cheers,

Roy
