I'm new to all this so just bear with me,
On my headphone options for mix i can only get the master output.
Anybody got any ideas.

First of all, be sure to download the latest driver for your console ( from the Hercules support site) as well as the latest update for Virtual DJ , as many issues have been corrected since the version that came on the provided CD.
Next, let's start with the configuration of the MK2:
- In the MK2 control panel, leave the setting to WDM
- Connect your main speakers to output 1/2 at the back of the console, and your headphone to the appropriate output
Launch Virtual DJ, then go to the Sound Setup, and configure as follow:
- Input : None
- Output(s): Headphone
-Soundcard: DJ Console MK2
Next, let's start with the configuration of the MK2:

In VirtualDJ DJC 3.4.1 (the version of VirtualDJ included with DJ Console Mk2), you have not the menu mentionned by Phatso, this menu is in VirtualDJ Pro.
With VirtualDJ DJC 3.4.1, once you have connected headphones on the front headphones output on the Mk2, you should have no issue to preview deck A or Deck B when you place the "Headphones Selection" switch on position Deck A or Deck B.
By default, whether you are in deck A or in deck B position, if you don't change the "Headphones Selection" switch position at the beginning of the mix, VirtualDJ DJC 3.4.1 will change automatically the preview source each time you load a new music track.

ok,For some reason i cant even get on tha website to download the latest version of hercules dj.I bought this product and im ready to send it back.I cant even enjoy it.Please help.

I have Virtual DJ 5.1 and just bought Hercules DJ Console mp3. In the Remote Control section of Virtual Dj 5.1 it says activate Hercules which I have done but I can't contol it with the hercules. What should I do ?

Did you buy the Hercules DJ Control MP3 OR DJ Control MP3 e2?
The e2, which is more recent than the original MP3, is only natively supported from version 6.03 and upward.

It has to be the DEFAULT sound card and need to set it up for QUADRAPONIC or 5.1 surround sound speaker system. (Windows Control Panel SOUND SPEAKERS ADVANDED CONFIG)

My problem: I cant hear Deck A or Deck B through the headphones. I can only hear the mix and split.
I have Virtual DJ vers 6.1 pro, Hercules DJ Console MK2 and my laptop runs Windows 7.
I have downloaded the lastest Hercules drivers I think it was called 2010 or 10.
Any advice?

i need some help guys!!!
i've just update my older virtualdj, to virtualdj7 pro.
i am using hercules mk2..with older version, it worked perfect. with vdj7 pro, i have a big problem..i cannot hear anything from the headphones until i pump up the volume(but then sound goes to the speakers too).
i downloaded and install the latest drivers of mk2, but the problem still exists...
my situation is desktop pc-mk2-mixer-amplifier-speakers
is there anyone to tell me what i have to do with the sound setup to fix this problem?

ok if you have the original disk load it... there is a driver in it that fixs this issue.. the same driver is not in the pro series as im using the same windows and had same issue... I posted step by step instructions... have a issue still I will send you a link.. also update the driver from herc web site..
