sorry this is not encouraged here... but enjoy your party anyway

free no but they are cheap at a lot of retail places like borders books ect....if you are really doing it for laughs check the kid section

Maki what people do in the comfort of their own homes is entirely of their own choice, but is not encouraged or condoned on these forums. And certainly does not need a debate about it, we have been there and done that, end of story.

maki, this is people's living. if they get busted, they're done, spending money on legal fees. Im only 17 but have taken the step towards totally legalizing my collection through dj pools, promo only, etc. i am ashamed that i have about 500 illegal DLed songs, but that dosnt mean that i havnt bought the legal versions and started to delete every single one with them. We'd rather give advise for the future for professionals - not advise that would get them arrested in the future.

just cuz it might be something that many do does NOT mean that we should condone or do it ourselves.

we all know what is right and what is wrong, just trying to show what is the less troubled path.

ok u are 17 i am 18 u understand how it is to colect money so u can buy all the stuff u need.and finaly whrn u get it u dont have softwear and u come hear i in hope that somebody will help u and then they say WE DO NOT SUPORT CRCKED VERSIONS... i cant say TAYLA help me with my skin he saiid how to put the bitmap in the skin ALDOUGH he knew taht im CRACKED..i sayid it that im going tu buy DJ when i biy the time codes beacouse if somethong goes wrong i have the suport and the team to help me until then im stayn on my x ponent and VDJ

Maki to say that i knew you were using a cracked version is wrong I did not, all i see is a "no license user" next to your name, I try to help anyone that comes on these forums if I can equably regardless of their status so please state only the fact's that you know of. People using these forums show great respect towards one another and help each other out accordingly, I would advise you to do the same.

for yhose watching this post now you realize why nlu are treated with scrutiny plain and simple if you dont have the money then you cant have the product that is life.....

Well they shouldn't Sirkit, i used to be a demo user when i first came on here just like the majority of other people, then with the help of other users on the forums i decided with their help and guidance then was the time to buy the software to suit my needs. But unfortunately things have changed a lot here since then, there seems to be a lot more antagonism towards nlu's with a minority of nlu's causing a lot of angst and problems for the vast honest majority of nlu's. To help someone whatever their status will always remain up to the individual, but when someone crosses that line they will receive little help from me and I dare say or a lot of others, but I dislike a them and us situation.... cheers.

maki, a better attitude will server you well. Don't be so defensive, keep your illegal dealings on the down-low, Atomix and VDJ can't afford to be seen as a company that supports such activities. Do what you do, but you have to expect some back-lash from DJ's that have spent there entire professional career and lots of $$ acquiring a legitimate library of music. And remember when/if you start making good money at this to get legit. There are lots of cats on this forum that will help you but your current attitude won't make any of them rush to your aid.

Good luck.

If your a dj that gets paid - then you can afford to buy the software and the songs to play at the gig. With the amount of resources available to us now - there is no reason why people can't access record pools to get their music.

I use a record pool that costs around $30-$40 a month (depending on the exchange rate) which is an hours work.

An hours work a month - to pay for legal music. Pretty good deal in my opinion.

agreed but just adding on to other post as people are asking why they are treated as such. I honestly dont care if someoen is stealing their music from best buy. but still will look at a request with scrutany cause i do not want to be the one enabling a thief

umm nice to see my post got hijacked....
Every song i have i have bought its just i dont wanna spend big money on some kareoke cds so i thought i somebody might now where to get them

apologies alicaffrey, hope your party goes well.
