Can you tell me why it is that I can make the BPM and more come up on the same line as the Artist and Title, but not the Genre or year?

The skin engine has various text "variables" that can be used to display the value of something (artist, bpm, title, pitch, ...)
You can't display the year and genre because VirtualDJ developers didn't include any variable for those values.
