I got a Hercules MK2 for Christmas and two Technic SL-1210M5G's, and was curious if I can use the Technics in the place of the jog wheels in virtual dj. Do I need a timecoded vinyl for this to work? Also, could anyone recommend perhaps a better mixer than the MK2 to use for this purpose?

Hi smirkinggun, welcome to the mac community.
Firstly, u need to register ur DJC edition serial number at ur profile.
If u want to use fully on timecoded with ur tt, u have to upgrade to PRO version which u have a discount and yes u have to use TCV or TCCD.
Any mixer could be used n u can use ur mk2 as a soundcard/controller for VDJ.
And currently u need to use on leopard if u gonna use timecoding.
Hope to see u as a pro user soon;)
