Sujet: Ye olde soundcard question...

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

OK I dont know if I dare ask this question but Im going to anyway!!

I know Numark made the VV soundcard but was one ever released for VDJ?
You see - obviously I have VDJ Pro but I want a dedicated soundcard like to Numark VV one - however I'd much prefer it to be a VDJ branded one.

Is this something youve done or are possibly thinking about???

Many thanks,

Phil

P.S. Happy New Year to you all!!!!

Hi happy new year:)

Honestly i don't think VDJ will make a dedicated self-branded soundcard. The next very best thing is the NVV (Cue + soundcard) if u want a complete set up of VDJ.

Vdj only provide and develop the software n not the hardware.

Regards;)

in my ever so humblest opinion:

it is not in vdj's business model's best interest to create their own sound card.

look for a controller that is listed in their config and find which one has an internal sound card, for example the RMX, and then get it.

it also depends on whether your machine is portable/mobile/etc in regard to whether you would simply want to purchase a peripheral sound card

Thanks Spinna & Adam,

I already have (dare I say it) Serato - but I am not happy with the results I get from that soundcard - the reason I didnt buy the Numark VV is as I said I already have VDJ Pro and therefore didnt want to buy another licence.
Looks like Im gonna have to tho. Damn! Oh well - I guess I should stop being such a tight-fisted git!

Phil

Have u looked into something like audio 8 or even the maya etc?

Or controller cum soundcard like the hercules rmx or mk2 etc?

Most user seem to be happy with the result;)

There might be such a soundcard in the future, who knows..
As of now, Virtual DJ in shops, is called Numark CUE or Numark Virtual Vinyl, so the VDJ soundcard (and it is), as a Numark logo.

But who knows, maybe there will be a VDJ logo one day too...
