when i set cues in songs and reset vdj or switch off my laptop
the saved cues are gone on them songs ????

When you power off, are you plugging the EXT into a different USB port?

What version of VDJ are you using?
And do you shut down VDJ, before you disconnect your external drive?

yes i close vdj down then switch it off, load it back up and they have all gone again???

Dont switch off the HD while Windows is still running. Shut down Windows first, then the drive
