if you buy serato TCV and use it with Virtual Dj, instead of Virtual DJ TCV. will it work?

Yes, Serato vinyl will work with the Pro version
You just have to choice the "noisemap" timecode engine (VirtualDJ Pro 5.1 and above) in the timecode config

Don't no mate, never used Serato, and I guess I'll never will.
VirtualDJ does everything I want it to do mate.

Depends on needles and turntables.
Some say our is better, some say Serato ones are....
But the experience depends on your hardware...

Correction it works but the timecode cue marks are jacked up sometimes. I personally wouldn't advise it. Seeing how I own both Virtual Vinyl and a ttm57
