I have seen some posts lately about users with infected systems and the problems they had , and every so often I was a little surprised at what I thought was naivete about the nature of the threats ........
So , Gang if we all put in our 2 cents worth maybe we could create a new sticky for security issues ??
We should try to inform about how they gain entry to your computer , what are the most dangerous , what they do if they infiltrate your system , ways to eliminate them , and the various defenses ......
I will try to kick things off a bit with this ..... we are talking about viruses , worms , trojans , hacking tools, rootkits and spyware and we are talking about the scams whereby these get onto your computer.........
Some of the defense against these things has to do with awareness and common sense , not just software
