Only had a few hours to play with it, but so far this board is amazing. VERY lightweight and compact, fits easily inside my micwizard bag along with my mics. No noticable electronic noise, clean mic pres, the built in effects each have six parameters to use, loud output, very low latency recording + the option of direct hardware monitiring, the "acoustic room control" works well, and of course it's got up to 16 channels of simultanious recording (also the first two channels have hi-z switches for hooking up a guitar or bass). But even as just a standalone soundboard, I think you'd be hard pressed to find something this good that's all digital for $300. I haven't tryed out the DAW controller features yet, but if it works as good as the other features this thing is gold. I might even try & map it in VDJ for my karaoke shows, but there's a chance it'll be locked to certain DAW programs. It is cased in tough plastic rather than steel or aluminum, but I have no doubts it'll hold up just fine. If anybody needs a new soundboard and/ or recording interface I would highly recommend this one (it's also 64 bit compatible). Just remember as a soundcard it's only got two outputs (left and right) so to use this as a soundcard in VDJ you'd have to use a second card for prelistening and I don't think it would suffice for timecodes because of this. I did test it as a soundcard in VDJ using my onboard card for prelisten and worked fine, if it can be mapped I'll drop the RMX for karaoke;^]
