I am using VDJ time codes, but for some strange reason whenever I hit the the cue button the tracks doesn't return to begining of the track..
Any ideas how i can correct this...
I'm using Denon HS5500's... I would really appreciate this...

time codes work by letting VDJ listen to the cd. pressing cue only stops the music so the time code stops. once cue'd back pressing play will play the track from the beginning so VDJ knows to play the track from the beginning. if you are pressing play after cuing the track back and it is continuing where it left it could be that you are playing in reletive mode. (Smart lets you use cue points better and absolute plays like a regular cd. some other things to consider are
using the PRO grade sound level time code. or the normal one. if your using the normal one you may find that the signal Clips meaning that VDJ cant listen to the time code properly
does your time code view read 100%
use the auto config whilst playing the cd. cue it back and play. see if it still reads 100%
is there any noise in the advance view
poor quality cables can induce line noise if next to other electrical devices. when your playing the code at pitch = o you should get circles with no noise showing.
hope that helps

also in smart mode if you cue to +10 secs before you load a track when you press play it will drop to the first cue point (i need to double check these times next time im at work) you can then use other cue points by loading hotstarts at about 1:20 for a1 and 2:30 for a2.
hope that helps
when i get all the times im using im gonna submit them to the wiki. ill keep you informed
