Sujet: Should i go with a mac

Hi I have been reading and searching alot before i started a thread just to get some knowledge. I am curently a pc user with virtual dj pro, I also have the numark totale controle. I am in love with it. Last night i had a pretty big gig and i found myself being the only one with a pc. Granted all the other dj's were using scratch live. I was only one with virtual and a pc but everyone was pushing me to get a mac. I am very happy with vdj other than the minor freezing and so on. If i do go with a mac does the mac experience as much problem as the pc does?

is your computer working? if you answer yes to this then you dont need a new mac or pc
 
I am in the same situation as you, it seems like every club I go to the dj's are all using a Mac with Serato. However, I like PC and like Virtual DJ. Mac is expensive and from what I hear virtual dj doesnt work as well with a mac as it does with a PC. I am most likely going to buy the new hp as soon as I can get some money together. Good Luck!
 
I use a mac book pro all the time,

mac can take a lttle tweaking but overall works very well on mac
 
if it's not broke, don't fix it.
 
If you are happy ...why to change ?
