Sujet: Windows 7 first impresions

installed them just to fool arround.....these days i dont work so i have plenty of time.....recovering from a car accident..anyway..vdj runs better than ever..clearer sound and better graphics.I USED TO RUN VISTA HOME PREMIUM..specs of the latop amilo li1818 1.87 dual core ,128mb intel graphics ,2gb of memory plus drivers from vista for my maya44 usb and bcd3000and all the known tweaks for djing on the operating system...I find windows 7 very stable so far..I am realy amazed..and its just beta..more impresions to come

Windows 7 is sounding very promising from the beta reviews and professional anticipations.
I'm actually planning to buy a new dell once Windows 7 comes preloaded, and I was hoping VDJ would kick arse on it.
Hope it wont be to much longer.

hopefully will try windows 7 on my mac? thats possible right? i already have it partitioned as well, just waiting
 
Win7 gets the thumbs up from me.

ive set it up on a 2nd drive and can dual boot with XP.
ive not used it yet on a live gig, but at home its working good on my 3 year old PC.

My system raiting is just 4.5 though because of my ram being DDR-400

my raitings are...

Processor: 4.8 (Athlon 64x2 4200 socket 939)
Ram: 4.5 (1gb DDR 1 @400mhz)
Graphics: 7.9 (XFX gf 9800gt xxx edition)
Gaming graphics: 5.9 (might be better if i had 2 graphics cards in SLI )
Primary HDD: 5.4 (on an old Maxtor 300gb drive sAta)

The OS Microsoft has designated to replace Vista.
 
i cant beleive there is going to be a new os how long has vista been out 2 years.

Appart from having Vista on a company laptop, ive not made the move to Vista, even though i was in on the Beta testing.
Windows 7 shows more stability for me on all my computers than vista ever did.
