I have a friend who might switch from pcdj red to virtual dj. He was wondering if vdj will work with the numark c3usb dual soundcard mixer?

any help would be great

Don't see why not. I use a CM200USB mixer from numark and it works just fine.

cool . He is using pcdj red and it does not support that mixer. Guess he is gonna be updating to vdj

I may have been WRONG!.....Went back to work at one of my old haunts last night and they now have a C3USB but they were not using the USB connection. I plugged the computer usb in to the mixer usb and windows recognized the USB cards and installed them and they said "Your new hardware is installed and ready to use" but could not get VDJ to work with it. The USB Sound Card showed up in the config drop down (but not in the card options), but no matter what combination I tried I could get no sound (the normal analog front/rear from the realtek 4.1 internal card worked fine).

On my computer VDJ automatically recognizes my 200USB mixer and shows a setting for the DMC1USB which works fiine, but it will not recognize this c3usb this way. Anybody got any suggestions? I will be playing there again every Wednesday night.

Also the video did not work, kept freezing while the video was playing and took several seconds to even load the video (needless to say i did the night without video). I am assuming they need to upgrade the video card since it is only a 7360 le. Don't know all the specs of the computer but what is listed on the sticker on the cabinet was windows xp (don't know what if any service packs have been upgraded), HP Core 2 Quad (don't know how much memory or speed), video is NVIDIA 7360 LE (didn't say how much memory). I did install direct x 9.0c and all my video codecs. Other than upgrading the video card any suggestions?
