Short introduction:
MY SYSTEM:
XPS M1330
2.5 GHz
Simgatel Audio
Gforce 8400M GS @ 1200x800
Working with BCD2000
I have many freezing problems with this configuration. I figured out that default VDJ skin: Internal Mixer working in 1024x768 resolution but my laptop have native resolution 1280x800. I changed skin and choose another but with 1280x800 resolution. WORKS PERFECT! without any freeze even if I minimalize a program.
Resuming:
Skin size is very important to system stability!
Maybe AtomicTeam will explain that issue....

Wow, Atomic Bomb!!! :)
As far as I know, there is no issue using a skin with a lower resolution; you just can't use a skin with a higher resolution for problem of visibility though.

Trust me....no. Laptops are very sensitive ;)
LAP: 1280x800 + VDJ 1024x768 = freezing (after hour...sometimes after minute or when minimalizing vdj)
LAP: 1280x800 + VDJ 800x600 = freezing
LAP: 1280x800 + VDJ 1280x1024 = it's higher so of course not used
LAP: 1280x800 + VDJ 1280x800 = OK ...stable even if you min. vdj or browsing your hdd
For me it's atomic bomb :P

Actually I had the same problem in my computer more than 1 year ago when I minimized vdj: sometimes when I minimized vdj, I had a crash.

Guys...
Are you pressing the MAXIMISE button when you are using VirtualDJ ??
Ive heared this causes VDJ some trouble, so best to run the program in a normal window (One that still could be dragged around the screen.

When I changed skin there is no freezing anymore...maximised, minmalised, other application working in background....VDJ still running like a charm :)
I don't know....is it connected with my BCD2000? or graphic card?....or core2duo problem?

Maybe it depends on DirectX.
I think DEV should fix this problem.
