Sujet hardware acceleration causes peaks in my latency

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

For some time I had an issue with my laptop (Macbook Pro running boot camp with XP Pro fully updated). My latency would be completely in the red until I found that disabling bootcamp in msconfig gave me a green flatline. For awhile everything was great, ran video perfectly, until recently where I experienced a random crash. After rebooting, my video card nvidia 8600 would not work correctly. Furthermore, my latency was in the red again. I tried to update my video driver but this did not help. I now reformated my partition and re-installed VDJ version 5.1 hoping that this problem would be solved however, I still get (after disabling bootcamp and other non essential programs as discussed in this forum) continuous red peaks when enabling hardware acceleration.

I need hardware acceleration for clipbank, which I use very often. What can I do? Has anyone experienced this problem? Any suggestions would help.

Anyone from the VDJ team have any suggestions? Should I try to use different video codec's (my video files are all in vob, karaoke are mp3+g, ambients for clipbank are vob). Ths problem seems to only occur when I enable hardware acceleration. What other codec's can I install and use?
