Sujet could do witha bit of help

reinstalling vdj 5.2.1 pro on to a new laptop with vista ihave the hercules console mk2

i installed the DJConsole virtualdj_djc_v3.4.1.exe (50 MB) driver plugged i the herc as asked then it said it could not find the drivers asked for the cd but it couldnt see the driver on the orig cd either

what do i do here ?

its now asking for the asio driver??/ what are they and where do i get them?
a bit lost with this

yes installed that first if that the 3.4.1. . ive now got it all installed but the console herc mk 2 does not work. i get sound through the amp ok but i have to operaate all the cues etc from the vdj laptop interface, nothing on the console works
The green lights are lit on the Audio sourse button on the console
i have the dj console icon running in the taskbar and can open it

No that link is for the latest drivers, not the 3.4.1 version.

Anyway could you try this then try,

In the mk2 control panel, set to WDM mode.

In VirtualDJ>Config>Sound Setup tab set

Input - None
Output - Headphones
Soundcard - MK2 Icon

Uncheck, Apply Eq to External source (or something like that)

Give that a go and see if you can control things. I've got to go out now to my gig, but if you have anymore problems I'll have a look in the morning,
