I just picked up two 1.5tb Segate Barracuda's for $250 from craigslist. I wont be needing storage for a long time. One will be a complete backup of my music and the other will be for the tunes and videos. This will be added to my 1tb and 750mb drives.

Hate to say it but you paid WAYYYYYY to much. Just bought a 1.5tb barrauda Sunday at Fry's Electronics for $145.99 and got a Western Digital 2TB external for $229.00.
I remember when the Commodore Amiga (yes I am that old) had a 10gig hard drive (the standard at the time was 4 gig) and I thought I will never need more space......I now have 10TB for video archive and 2tb of videos I use on shows......you will need storage sooner than you think no matte rhow much you have!
