Sujet Pitch slider

I'm using 2 poneers CDJ-1000 with VDJ. It all work properly but the only thing thad not worked from the beginning is that the pitch slider on the display don't move if you change the pitch on de CDJ-1000. Is this normal or can it work by changing some settings or other things?
