Well guys i want to start buying more dj gear...but i want more speakers....so right now i have this....
*2 Full/Mid Range Speakers....1200 watts peak power each...
* Pre Amp. 3000 watts peak power...
Well i want to add more to my set up...I know i need a power amplifier...cross over...and More speakers obviously...well i want to know what kind of amp is good..what speakers i should get and what cross over do i need...and for the next set of speakers i was thinking of getting Sub Woofers?...and then add more more Full/Mid Range Speaker....I saw this on guiatarcenter.com

well for now about 100..people...theres alot of partys that i do at back yards..about 50 people...im a "mobile dj"....but i also want equipment that will let me expand to more stuff later on....

Regarding a sub, if you are looking at folded horns get a cerwin vega earthquake. The whole line up is good..from the Jr to the TS-42. I have received complaints from my wife, cops, principals, banquet mgrs, etc. that the bass is too loud. Some of my DJ buddies can't believe the sound quality.

Whats your budget? for 100 people, you really need no more than 2 speakers and a good sub really...

my bidget is about a $1,000 USD...thats why i know i also need a crossover and amp...the bass must be loud to get complaints like that..im ganna check them out...bout how many watts does it have???

i suggest you get a powered sub - most have a crossover built in and you dont need new amps, etc

God advice re powered sub, to be honest I won't be going passive again as I find powered stuff so much easier leaving you more time to concentrate on other stuff.
