I use VDJ mainly for streaming and DJ'ing online. I notice with V6, it's still being shipped with a version of the lame_enc.dll encoder from 2004.
There is a newer version available for anyone who needs it here:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Lame_Encoder.htm
(You only need extract the lame_enc.dll file)
Just back up your old copy and replace the old version in the plug-in directory. I did this before the upgrade and had no problems, however V6 will overwrite the newer file, so do this after.
I am curious if I need to do this though, and how important it is to streaming quality / performance?
Cheers :)
