Don't worry we're not like that around here.

As for the mixer...Personally, I would never buy a 2-channel mixer. They're fine for scratch DJs, but not enough versatility for me. I use a Pioneer DJM-800 which is MIDI capable but is pretty expensive. I do scratch but still prefer a 4 channel mixer anytime. The Pioneer DJM-700 is an excellent investment. It is MIDI capable, has built in effects and has 4 channels for added versatility. The price for a DJM-700 is very reasonable too.

Good luck,

im a scratch battle dj and have always used a 10inch mixer my preference..in the process of copping a djm909(layaway is nice thing) wish i could layaway vdj...but would love something like the 57sl...to control vdj so i never have to touch laptop....

The Pioneer DJM-909 is a great machine but it is not MIDI capable. The Rane TTM 57 SL is good too but it also lacks MIDI. There aren't many 2 channel mixers that offer MIDI. MIDI is mostly found on 4 channel mixers like the Pioneer DJM-700 or 800 and Allen & Heath Xone 92 and others.
