Second Question: Why would you keep talking about your VDJ crashing, and in the next breath brag about using a cracked version?

...ain't nothing like a hi-jacked thread. :`(

So to make sure I'm reading this right...it doesn't really matter what settings I have for my monitor, the default pro skin will maximize automatically and there shouldn't be any freezing issues because of it being maximized. Is that right?

maximized bug from v5 has been fixed.
I recomend you set your screen to its native resolution. (not 1024x768 on a 17in monitor. lol)
then use the new maximise.

back to the above topic...
we need to read into the above v6.0.1 issues.

Wow took me all of 20 Seconds to go and make it crash

Crash ID=0028df78 (date=906082248, version=6.0.1 Pro, build=601, thread=Main, dump=89a3a93e, excode=c0000005 (1,131e05))

So many new great features and still the same old problem... Please make it stable !!

Which processor do you have?

Do you use a DMC2 controller?

So what would be the native resolution - you say not 1024 x 768 so what would the correct one be?

So check this out...

If I have my screen resolution on my laptop set to the max 1440 x 900 with the VDJ 6.0 Pro (Widescreen) and with regular VDJ 6.0 Pro skin with Performances set to "best quality" my CPU usage is constantly spiking and staying around 30 to 40 % and this is when the program is idle.

If I change the screen resolution to 1280 x 800 with everything staying the same it still runs constantly 30 to 40%.

With a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 CPU usage is 0 to 2%.

The laptop specs are Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 @ 2.00GHz, 998MHz, 2.00 GB of RAM.

Do I need to tweak anything?

*Note* With a resolution of 1400 x 900 and VDJ NOT maximized to full screen the CPU Usage is 0-2 when idle. Same with using the widescreen skin...when not maximized the CPU usage is 0-2 % when idle.

I like running VDJ full screen as I can see better. :-) I'm already wearing glasses.

I have a HP G60 Notebook PC. Dual Core T4200 2.00 Ghz and 3GB RAM. 16" LCD. My highest resolution is 1366 x 768 (i know a strange, but it is the one that looks most "natural" with my laptop.)

I run VDJ6.0 maximized with the Pro Widescreen skin, and my CPU is 3-6 bars of the CPU Meter. I run it not maximized and it is roughly the same CPU usage for me. I change to other skins included, as well as the Cue RMX Skin I have been using in Cue 5.2.1. I get the same CPU results.

Keep in mind when I do this I have my webcam, wifi, and all other unneeded hardware DISABLED. I know in my situation, when I close all applications just have the OS + Windows Live One Care running, I get the same CPU resouce readings on my CPU. I enable things like WiFi and such... and my idle usage shoots up.

So it sounds specific to your configuration witht he software?

Maybe...that's why I mentioned my findings above. Hopefully someone will reply with some helpful information or might have to send in a trouble ticket.

I checked my affinities and both cpu's are checked.
