Sujet: VDJ 6.0.1 & CDJ-400

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

First off, let me tell you how amazing VDJ 6.0.1 is. I love it.... however I'm experiencing some lag with the CDJ-400s.

I have left the settings as is from VDJ 5.2, but now it's lagging randomly.

Specs:
2.4 ghz (duel core)
4 gb ddr2 ram
what else is to know?

I find it a little slow on the scratching (or any jog wheel usage at that) and the cue button sticks? I'm so use to it being a "hold cue to preview" and not "press cue to preview, but hold it for 5 seconds first".

Also on a side note, my CPU usage hasn't gone past 10%.

I use 2 CDJ-400s and a DJM-800 with VDJ 6.0.1 and I haven't experienced any "lag" issues. The scratch wheel I agree with you and I have been working with cstoll (Chris) from Atomix about this, they will be getting a fix out soon. Check out this thread...

I have issues with cueing as well, it doesn't always "kick on" when pressed or it's late. Samples aren't beat matching like in the previous versions and pressing the "Sync" button for beat matching works but doesn't align the songs every time like in the previous version.

Now I know that the new version is more "hands on" and user programmable so maybe I need to do some tweaking. It seems as though the new version isn't as "plug and play" as the previous release. I'm still gigging with 5.2.1 for now, but practicing daily with 6.0.1. I'm not giving up, I know it'll take some time to get past the learning curve.

All mappers are new too, as well as the language/code the mappers run on.
So there might be tweaks needed from our side as well

And we're lookin into all feedbacks, and improving things if we see things arent up to standards ;)
