I just bought a Numark M4 3-Channel Mixer and having trouble hooking it up my hercules rmx to use as a sound card. Does anyone know how to set external mixer into the RMX?

I have the rmx and use it with an external mixer so that i can use external cd decks incase the computer decides to crash. (Gotta love vista, even the stripped version sucks)
I run the sound out of output 1-2 to the mixer. And use all the built in features of the mixer for cue'ing.
Ill hook it up and mess around with it for some of the advanced features and post my results.
Note: im using version 5.2 still
Update:
After looking at my mixer what you can do is under outputs you can choose External Mixer and use the dj rmx as the audio card but then you would not have cross fader control with the rmx.
One other thing you can do is choose 3 line mixer and use your computer sound card along with the rmx sound card and that would give you deck one on output 1-2 from the rmx and deck 2 on outputs 3-4 and samples and previews on your computer output but still your are limiting the control of the rmx.
In conclusion i would stick with using the main output from the rmx out of outputs 1-2 and use the bult in headphone jack for que'ing and previewing songs.

RMX or whatever soundcard your using
go into RMX quickstart and place it at external - lock jog wheels - lock fader ( or your personal preferences )
Connect rca as required for your setup
