Good news!
I received an e-mail confirmation that my SP1 already arrived. 'Will pick it up this afternoon.
I will let you know how it works both with Serato DJ and VDJ.
There's already a mapping available for this unit both for Mac and PC:

The little badboy has arrived... Really cool to play with... Kailangan nga lang sanayin dahil halos lahat ng controls ay may ibang function sa shift.
Kahit anong controller na may built-in soundcard ay pweding maging DDJ-SX with this unit added. Pwede na munang i-keep ang NS6 for the time being.

If this is on a Mac (most likely default security)...
Just right-click on the zipfile then click open.
You can disable this option somewhere in the settings.
I hope this is the case : )

Hello Sir,
If you will use video in DJing, 15" is the way to go. If music only, 13" is more than enough.
I just bought Mid 2012 13" Macbook Pro i7 2.9Ghz 8GB Ram 750GB HDD, it runs VDJ & Serato without issues.
I would say, Mac is better than PC in my experience particularly if I use Serato. 938MYDJ will agree with me :)
Some DJs says: "If you go on Mac, you will never look back". :)
If medyo kapos sa budget, pwede na ang refurbished unit if you buy directly to apple.com you won't notice
any difference with brand new bcoz they will replace anything with cosmetic issues as well as any defective parts found inside.
In short, para din syang brand new the only difference is you will no longer receive it in original box.
Good Luck on your new purchase ;)

Mac 15\" are the mostly used size for DJ-ing.
But technically speaking, 13\" with the same specs will do the job as well... including video-mixing.
Kung balak mong gamitin ang bibilhin mong Mac strictly (or mostly) for DJ-ing, 15\" na yung kunin mo.
Mukhang malaking tao ka rin sa picture. Baka hindi maging proportion ang trese sa yo, LOL!
Also, yung non-retina display (with CD drive) binabaan yata yung presyo kesa dati.
Keep us posted with your purchase.

There you go... It's a good idea na madaling gayahin, lol!
I used Mixed-In-Key (damay na pati Serato at Traktor key-tags). Unlike Virtual DJ, it's not biased on minor key detection. It's an extra time to spend kapag nag-aayos ng library, pero kapag dati mo ng ginagawa masasanay ka na rin lalo na't sulit naman siya. Di pa nga ako nakakapag-upgrade. May bagong labas na version 6.
Anyway, back to moving to Mac topic...
Para sa akin, Laptop (computer) ang pinaka-importanteng gamit sa digital mixing... pangalawa lang ang software at pangatlo ang controller.
I am happy to see more and more visitors here moving to Mac. It's a smart investment and will eliminate or at least minimize your worries.
Na-mi-miss ko tuloy si Pareng Cesar Castillo ... Nasan ka na pare ko?

Play around with the free home edition. Then try the PRO Trial Version.
If you will like it then aim to buy the Full Pro Version to enjoy all the features and of course the free unlimited version upgrade.
Enjoy!

Tanda ko kung hindi Dubai, baka Abu-Dhabi...
Let me dig from our PM exchange and let you know.
Medyo hindi maganda ang experience niya sa Mac kaya ko siya na-alala.
Like any other products, minsan may sumabsablay din na mangilan-ngilan sa mga batch na nilalabas nila. I think this was the case na nangyari sa kanya.
