hi there i have an ion icue which i put to my computer then run an rca lead from my mixer to my microphone slot on my laptop . all run through my amp . the sound is lower than my other mixer channels running cd decks . why is this . do i need a sound card . please help . clueless . phill

i'd go with the RMX. only reason why the steel is cheaper, as you probably know already, is that it doesn't have a soundcard. i WOULDN'T suggest either of these controllers if you're into scratching. from my own experience and what i've read from others is it's very hard to scratch because of a latency issue. you can tweak the settings on the RMX through virtualDJ and somebody have found that sweet spot, but i've had no luck. i don't scratch so it's not that big of a deal to me. if you DO scratch, i'd suggest either the VCI-100 or VCI-300.

Hey Gadgetman,

That American Audio controller you looks awesome, if I may say so. How do you like it?

Hi

Think This Is The Best Discussion To Ask This.

Hercules DJ Control Steel Or Numark Stealth Control Is The Best One.....?

Thanks.

Hey TDBennett,

I had a chance to go into Guitar Center this week and check out that Numark controller you got. It is a very cool controller for the money, imo. Those platters are as good in feel as any of them on the competitor units. Numark had done some cool stuff with their units, for sure.

How are you liking the built-in sound interface included in that model?
