Hey all
Having a major issue with my copy of Virtual Vinyl. Occasionally the control vinyls stop controlling the song, which just continues to run by itself as if I had my input setup to "none" instead of "turntables". The only way to regain control with my vinyl is to reset the program, which as you can imagine is unacceptable.
Any ideas? Havn't been overly impressed with VV as of late, considering the price tag and the poor performance in updating the program.
As an afterthought, I have a copy of virtual DJ, the time code never letting me down. Any way to transfer the VDJ timecode over to VV?
Cheers guys

wanted to ask the same thing. Using numark VV and have the same problem. Sometimes the vinyl wont control the song. Timecode is working and the vinyl is moving (in Virtual DJ), but the song will just play even if u stop the turntable. If u play the vinyl to the end it usually stops to respond.
But u don't have to close virtual dj. You just have to go to the timecode setings and what i do is change Virtual Vinyl V4 to V5 and then back to V4. and it works again. Still a problem

What quality of Signal do you get I would imagine the signal quality is low and we will need to help you reconfigure.
We are in the final motions of testing V6.
We spend allot more time testing the updates for quality reasons.

Im getting a signal of 0%.
The system acts very odd sometimes, refusing to work at all even after it has been set up properly. Lots of things I don't understand.
How would I go about reconfiguring?
Good to hear that you guys are testing the new update and that it will be released for VV.

You need to have a 100% signal to have a right functioning control, other than that it will be a mess.
If you could kindly post a screen shot your settings to speed up the help process, please.
The hardware you're using e.g needle, anti-skating setting of your TT might affect the timecode signal towards the end part of the vinyl.
I'm using M44-7, straight tone arm (cartridge twisted a bit to get an angle), start the auto config on the 3rd partition of the vinyl and bammm I already have the 100% signal until the end of the timecode, unclick clear sound, 0 pitch sensitivity (to avoid jumping off the pitch, cause by warp vinyl). And BTW don't forget to set your VV box to phono if your using TCC, otherwise line on TCCD.
Hope that helps.
And ohh yes the updates, well I almost to hang my head already.

Ahhh, I will try that.
I have the exact same problem - my turntables will control the turntable animation in VDJ6 but the song won't actually kick in. Sometimes one deck works and the other won't - it's really random.
Both timecode signals are at 100%, the song just won't play. I nearly threw my decks across the room last night.
I'll try the timecode settings thing.
