Sujet: Cue jumping problem

The problem I'm having all of a sudden - one song is playing to the audience, the next song I have a cue point set on the first beat; when I go to mix into the second song/hit the start button, the cue jumps either one beat forward or one beat behind and isn't on the exact beat I want.
Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this. We've looked at settings in Config and everything looks correct. I'm stumped. this only happens on the left deck.. (VDJ ver. 5.2.1) Thanks !!

DJ Bob,

Hmmm... make sure your cue mark is set at the right spot. Use the expand bar to stretch the waveform out. Then check that your cue mark is set on the beat properly.

Next make sure the song/video is fully loaded in the play before you hit your cue mark.

I have a similar problem where a song (might be a VBR) tries to load but gets hosed up and won't load fully. It plays ok, but the loading of the song is "just in time" and loads very slow in front of the play marker. When I get in this situation my cue marks are about a half beat behind. I have to reload the app to clear the problem.

Any more details you can provide ?

The cue mark is set at the right spot. this is only on the left deck not the right one. You can see the CBG junp to the next beat.. Thanks!
 
You have enabled the "Smart_play". Change to skin VirtualDJ6 (default skin for Ver 6). You now be able to see a small locker just above the Play button (of the left deck). It should be on. Click to make it off. You re ready.

i am having the same kind of problem but when i push play it dont auto lineup the cbg, it speeds or slows the song im mixing in to catchup to the cbg on the song already playing.
