Possibly a problem with the video encoding itself - the audio or video is corrupted so the finishing points are wrong so it doesnt recognise when to finish correctly. Try using something like Super to reencode the video.

I have some of my Videos only started doing this recently. The Videos have become corrupted and I believe it was through defragmenting my hard drive, which I do regularly every week. I was not using the Windows defragger, but, a third party independant defragger.
Last week I bought a new external USB hard drive and copied the Video database across to it. Strange thing I noticed, the corrupted Videos seem to be OK again, weird! This to me indicates possible storage problems. Today I am going to attempt copying the Database back to its original location overwriting the original database and see if that fixes the files.
I suggest you try copying the offending files to a different location and then check and see how they load.

I wouldn't bother, if you compare the file size of PCDJ VJ against VirtualDJ you will find that it is larger because of the Softwrap container its burried in. They are the the same program behind the interface skin except PCDJ VJ is a version or two behind. PCDJ VJ is a licensed version of VirtualDJ, best stick with the original and not use "bloatware". I should know I bought PCDJ VJ first and had lots of problems with it then I bought the orignal VirtualDJ and haven't looked back since.

This in process now.
Did some tests, loaded a corrupted video off my C:\ drive into the left player in VDJ.
Loaded the exact video off my new external hard drive into the right player.
Would you believe that the corrupted video was about 5 seconds shorter!! ......and it had copied the full size onto the external earlier in the week. Weird!!! The bit that was missing was directly before the cue point in the video, dunno if that is significant or not.
P.S. I also noticed that yesterday I did a kids party in the afternoon and loads of the videos I used have lost their analysis information (BPM, Key, Cue Points) since playing them. Why???
