Sujet: Any one using Mixed in Key software?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Just stumbled upon information about Mixed in Key software. Never heard of it. It claims to work with "all CD decks, Ableton Live, Traktor, Serato Scratch Live, and all other mixing software and hardware." Of course it does not single out VDJ so I guess it falls under " other mixing software".

Anyways just wondering if anyone is using it and what are your thoughts about it. Good, bad, recommend it and etc.

Thanks.

I have a Mixed in Key 4 license... and for me is a great piece of soft...im using it since version 2.5.
This is the best dj tool if you want to start with the harmonic mixing tecnique, also they have their own algoritm to calculate the camelot notation, and is better than the one included on VDJ...

Organize your music collection in order by bpm and key is faster with this soft, also you can export your files list on to an excel .xls

It's great to use in VDJ but if you use any Tracks from Whitelabel.net for playback in Serato it's going to screw up your files!

Great for VDJ though, I'm going start using MIK more often now.

I had been hearing good things about Mixed In Key for a long time, so I bought it last year. It's a good program, but maybe a bit pricey considering what it actually does.

I find MIK's analyzing algorithm to give more accurate/reliable results than Virtual DJ, so rather I rely on it.

I was using MIK. I stopped using it because VDJ have their own key/camelot.

So I decided to stick with one product (VDJ), since they offer it, so I don't have to deal with different readings from two products.

But it was great to use. To each his own.

I own it, and recomend it. Sure there are a few ways to get simular results for free... but what I like about MIK is that I can put the BPM and key in many different spots. Then it's there in the id3 tag no matter what dj program I am using. Platinum Notes is good too. Good product support from developer too.

I have Mixed in Key 4 and Platinum Notes 2 love using both Platinum Notes have said there is an update coming soon free upgrade from 2.:-)
