Sujet: Installing effects

I can't seem to figure out how to install effects or samples in virtual dj 6.
I have created a sample mp3 of a transition effect and installed it to the "effects" and "samples" folders but VDJ is not seeing them.

I have noticed that everything in there right now are .dlls or .exes
Must this sample be a .dll or is it possible for me to install an .mp3 sample?

Nevermind - found my user guide and the answer was there.

Hi i am having the same problem can you explain how you resolved it for the sampler to play mp3's i have a disc full of effects but i cannot load any ?????
