Very nice videos Cheers!
I received a PM on my YouTube account on how to MIDI-Map a DJM-800 to use Virtual DJ. This guy wants to map his DJM-800 and doesn't want to use controllers, just the mixer. My DJM-800 is not mapped and I don't want to map it. I don't even know how though I'm sure I could do it if I really had a need for it and I don't because I'm using CDJ-400s.
Is this a good idea for this dude to map his mixer and not use controllers?
What do you think?
I think this guy should buy some controllers to go with that DJM-800.

Thanks RuDe - been meaning to put a video together for a while but never quite got there.
As for the 800, I dont think theres enough spare buttons to fully control vdj without using timecodes or some sort of controller. I guess in theory you could map a couple of buttons to start the deck and sync it automatically but it would be a pretty boring way to dj. Surely you need some sort of controller to express any creativity?

Wouldn't you need jog wheels to set cue points

You could use a mouse to set them initially I guess. There are guys just using a mouse to play quite successfully but not for me.
