Yet again I found another reason to appriciate Virtual DJ and it's support forum and community.
A while ago I decided to test Image-Line's Deckadance just to see if it's any good. After I was done trying it, I uninstalled it. Recently I installed Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and noticed how it crashed every time on start-up because it's trying to load 'deckadance.vst'.
Whether the problem is A) deckadance.vst is still somewhere on my Mac, but sucks and makes Premiere crash or 2) it's not there anymore, but for some reason Premiere is trying to find it.
So what has this got to do with Virtual DJ? I created an account to Image-Line's forum to ask for advice. But get this - only customers with a purchased licence can post to the forum. And guess if they have any other support mediums? Nope, not even an e-mail address.
So their demo f*cks up my Mac, and there's no way to ask them how to unf*ck-up it. Priceless!
