Sujet: SOS NEED HELP WITH 6.0.2

just update to 6.0.2 vdj will not see my bcd3000 useing win vista ultimte got all the right drivers and mapers install.thinking they took care of all the midi problem with this update.it works fine with win xp but just can't to go in vista 32bit ultimate

Just did a gig partially with 6.0.2 I have Windows 7 RTM installed on the laptop. I have a technet plus subscription so I can get it before the public. 6.0.2 crashed so hard that I had to turn off the laptop to get it to recover. It did this twice during the gig. Luckily it was only during dinner time and I was only playing back ground music. My back up ipod worked great. Basically the virtual dj screen would freeze completely. The song that it was playing still played but none of the controls would work. Neither hardware or software controls would work. Also I was not able to close virtual DJ. I tried to do a control alt delete and brought up task manager to try to shut down the process with no luck. The only way to close it was with a hard powerdown. Basically hold the power button on the laptop for 10 seconds.

Finally I uninstalled 6.0.2 and went back to 6.0.1 and everything worked flawlessly. So if you have windows 7 64 bit, do not use 6.0.2 for the moment.

Sometimes I wonder why people have a technet plus subscription as it's for IT professional.

Anyway, the issue you have is only linked to your computer. Have you even tested on more than one computer? If you did it, you would see that your advise is totally wrong.

We have tested VirtualDJ v6.0.2 on Windows 7 Ultimate (x86) and (x64) and there is no SOFTWARE compatibility issue.
 
lol i don't know what he is talking about if he read my post i said i got 32bit vista.djcel do you know why i'm getting this problem? from version 6.0 to 6.0.2 vdj will not see my bcd3000 controller install mapper everything i know that will make it work.but how ever i did get vdj to use bcd3000 in vista home premium 32bit.so i don't know if vdj haveing issues useing bcd3000 in vista ultimate 32bit tryed two computers with vista ultimate still did not get it to work.i know it's not the pc because i try four other dj software that use bcd3000 and work very good.
 
If you are using a mapper/definition from the downloads ... remove them from the Devices and Mapper folder and see if VirtualDJ recognizes the controller.
 
i try and still did not get it to go i'll just stik to 5.2
 
Running VDJ 6.0.1 and i am getting alot of static when i plug in the Hurc. controler. All of this is on an Acer with Vista home edition. Ran it on a Dell with XP home edition and it worked fine...? Any ideas why? Ive got the Wireless connection shutoff, on both computers....so i dont know what else it could be.
 
 
I just upgraded to VDJ 6.0.2 and seem to have the same problems....perhaps its just a bad computer? Any more ideas?
