Well, I took the plunge and bought myself a macbook pro 13.3" 2.3 GHZ with a 250gb hd. After all it is my 30th bday in a few days time...!
First impressions are - I love this machine. The laptop itself is a gorgeous bit of kit and it's surprisingly easy to get to grips with the Mac OS and I love the little touches you don't get with a windows pc.
I've just put VDJ on had a bit of a play around. I thought it may be a bit of a faff to setup but not at all. Everything just works. In fact, since I switched on the mac for the first time everything has just worked.
I am really pleased to report as well that the latency on the RMX has improved no end. The responsiveness has got much better and I don't really noticed a lag as i did on my windows based system before.
Anyway, i'm a very happy mac user!

Me too!
... although I actually went for the new 15". absolutely love the machine. still got a few issues with VDJ running on it, but I'm sure I'll iron them out.
