Sujet: Ive hooked up 2x CDJ-400 and im having problems...

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hello, i currently have 2 Pioneer CDJ-400s and a Denon DNX 1500, I have tried hooking up my cdjs to virtual dj 5.1 and i am having problems

My first problem was that it sounded as if the track i was playing was skipping all of the time and the quality wasnt very clear, i thought maybe i need to buy an extra sound card and have 2 audio cables going from my laptop into the mixer instead of having 2 audio cables coming from the cdjs? I dont know if that would help though.

My second problem was that it was my 1st time testing the cdjs with virtual dj and the program had crashed after 15 minutes of mixing, My laptop is 4 gig RAM so therefore shouldnt do this.

If anyone could help it would be apprechiated. Cheers

Best thing would be to update to latest version of v5 (v5.2.1) or better to version 6.0.2.
If you are working with a version 'from the net' then you must life with the probs because they are most related to the bad cracking of VDJ.

Maybe you want to tryout the Trial Version of VDJ ? It's for free for about 20 days.

Jakovsky is right. A cracked version of this software is full of bugs and issues. Get the trial version and you will see. I have Pioneer CDJ-400s and they are great with the full, legal version of Virtual DJ.

Ok thanks, would this have anything to do with the sample rates? Ive seen your videos on youtube but i couldnt find anything that could help so i thought this would be the best place to post.

I can't even begin to tell you how many people have emailed or PMed me here, on my YouTube Channel or my website about similar issues they were having. The first thing I ask them is if they are using a cracked version and 95% of them were. I have directed them to get the trial version and of those people I'd say 80% of them have actually bought the full version of the program, the others just couldn't afford it or I never heard from them again.

Everyone who has used the full legal version has been satisfied. It's free to try for 20 days so give the trial a shot then ask me some questions.

Ok thanks, how do you set up your cdjs for disgital djin? Do you have an extra sound card and have 2 audio cables coming out of the laptop? or do you just have the standard RCA cables coming out of your cdjs? I dont know which would be the most effective way of doing it?

CDJ 400's are natively supported. No need for sounds cards, just plug in the USB, plug you outs on the CDJ to the mixer and go, period. I've done plenty of sets on them. Try out the real version of VDJ and you'll see. No one is going to knock you for using a cracked version. Many of us started on that before we bought the real software. But don't expect much advice unless you are a registered and licensed user.

Ok cheers, im gonna try the trial version like. Can i hook my cdjs up on virtual dj 6?

Yes, it's native on 6.++
