Sujet: Quick Question About MIDI Controllers?

BTW, I ask these questions for all the beginners of DJing (so they don't have to). I am also a beginner.

Well I have a Behringer DDM4000 mixer. I want to map 2 of the channels for MIDI purposes.

I want to map one channel to control sampler 11 volume, and another channel to sampler 12 volume.

Will I still have to add RCA cables to those channels? Will the midi cable supply the sound for me?

No, it wont. You will still need the RCA-cables to transfer audio signal. The MIDI-cable will only transfer control signals (i.e "button X is being pushed now").
